Mark Katz
Co-Founder, Managing Member, Acquisitions Specialist, Underwriting Specialist, Funding Specialist, Asset Management Specialist, Multi-Family Investor
For the past 47 years, Mark Katz has been involved with the acquisition, operation, financing, and dispensation of thousands of apartment units spanning all of the boroughs of New York City (excluding Staten Island). He has extensive knowledge as a property manager. His companies have long been affiliated with the NYC RENT STABILIZATION ASSOCIATION (RSA), NYC COMMUNITY HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CHIP), and the BRONX REALTY ADVISORY BOARD (BRAB).
He is also licensed in New York State as a commercial Real Estate Broker and a Property and Casualty Insurance Broker.
He has been a guest lecturer at New York University's Real Estate School of Continuing Education.
He is currently mentored and coached in Real Estate. Syndication by the RE MENTOR Network.
He has earned a B.A. (1972) from Kent State University and an M.S. (1974) from Bucknell University.
He is a former Board Of Directors member of The Ronald McDonald House charity of Long Island and a former Board of Director of his local Little League in Syosset, New York.
Margaret M. Katz
Co-Founder, Managing Member, Multi-Family Investor
Along with her husband, Mark, Margaret is a managing member of the multi-family real estate investment firm UNITED ACQUISITION GROUP, LLC. Margaret is also a managing member of several other Real Estate LLCs.
Margaret has invested 1031 tax exchange proceeds through two entities in a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST). The asset is the Verizon Wireless main corporate headquarters in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She has also invested 1031 tax exchange proceeds through an additional entity in another DST. This asset is a new Amazon Fulfillment Center in Garner, North Carolina.
Margaret has retained a 13% interest in both respective assets after financing out 87% of her investment as funds to acquire interests in under-valued emerging market multi-family properties across the country.
Margaret earned a Journalism Degree from Kent State University and an MFA from New York University.
